The Women’s Center

The MCSM Women's Center strives to develop an environment that builds a nurturing community, providing support, community, health resources, and creative art projects all while having fun together. The center has computers for participants to use with assistance provided. Art materials are always available and there are gently used clothing. Open Tuesday-Thursday 10:00-1:00 and open to all persons who identify as a woman.

Open hours continue to be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 10am-1pm

Creativity can change our perceptions of the world. It changes attitude, emotional state, and pain perception; it creates hope, positivity, and healing. Art can help us cope with difficulties and can transform our outlook on and way of being in the world. During Open Hours and in small group sessions, there is an opportunity to experience the different aspects of who we are as we make art together. No experience is needed and all materials are provided.
