SCREEN TIME: What’s Right For Your Child?

Saturday, June 13th, 10:00 am - Noon

Many parents don’t realize that “screen time” for children under two is NOT recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.  Yet young children are spending several hours a day looking at smartphone screens, T.V. and/or computers!!  Screen time can become habit forming and cause problems for the developing child. This workshop will help parents understand how to make sure their children are getting the right types of stimulation during the right developmental stages (and avoiding unhealthy stimulation) to enhance their development.  The workshop will focus on seven ways to enrich over 90% of a child’s brain no matter what their experience has been.

Location: Hillcrest Elementary School Cafeteria

Space is limitedRESERVE A SPOT by MAY 29th by calling Hillcrest Elementary School
